Competition - All customers now have the option of purchasing their gas from Corning Natural Gas or an approved non-utility marketer or Energy Services Company (ESCO) who operates in our service area. Click here to obtain a list of these approved marketers. Corning Natural Gas will still deliver the gas to your residence or business and you will be billed for the use of our pipeline system (at our transportation rate). You will then receive a bill from the non-utility supplier for the gas (billed at their commodity rate), which they purchased for you. The Gas Company cannot guarantee any savings through the use of a non-utility marketer because your cost of gas through this alternative supplier will be through your negotiations with them. Also we are not obligated to calculate our bill under our rate schedule to tell you what your bill would have been. Please call or contact us and ask for the applicable rate schedules to calculate your savings.
